Electrical Engineer (EE) - Summary
- Design and engineering of electrical systems for healthcare and other complex facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-design engineering tasks, including reviewing as-built drawings, performing field investigations, and setting up project documentation for multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate design, schedules, and deliverables.
- Prepare schematic designs and engage in feasibility studies for proposed projects.
- Perform energy calculations using tools such as EnergyPro or IES VE.
- Develop single-line diagrams, load schedules, and select/design lighting controls.
- Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems for healthcare and related projects.
- Complete Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Power System Coordination studies.
- Evaluate and design low voltage building systems, including fire alarm, security, voice/data, and nurse call systems.
- Apply standard engineering techniques and conduct basic calculations for routine engineering work.
- Prepare construction estimates, specifications, and reports for smaller projects.
- Review construction submittals during the administration phase of projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
- LEED accreditation is considered a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Knowledge of California Building Code and National Electrical Code is required.
- Experience with HCAI projects and Net Zero Energy/Carbon initiatives is advantageous.
