Electrical Engineer - Summary
- Full-time position with a leading manufacturer in the HVAC sector
- Onsite role focused on product design, development, and support
- Contribute to new product introductions, technology research, and compliance activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure product excellence
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design digital and analog circuits, embed firmware, and document engineering procedures
- Prototype, debug, test, and qualify products prior to production release
- Develop and execute testing procedures for current and new products, analyzing outcomes to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and education to customers as needed
- Conduct field failure analysis and address end-of-life subcomponent issues
- Update and maintain product certification and compliance documentation
- Research and monitor long-term product quality and reliability, including life-testing with datalogging
- Support factory operations by resolving yield issues and reviewing alternative components for cost and availability
- Track weekly project status and participate in business opportunity discussions, process improvements, and competitor product analysis
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team’s objectives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 8-10 years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with embedded firmware development
- Hands-on proficiency with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and single board computers (Arduino, Raspberry PI)
- Strong knowledge of circuit design, troubleshooting, and printed circuit board design, including circuit simulation (SPICE)
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages, including C/C++ (real-time controls), Python, SQL, and database utilities
- Additional experience with phone app development (REACT-NATIVE, Node JS, Android Studio, XCODE), Ubuntu Linux, Arduino/C++, and ESP32 is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills for technical and cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
