Electrical Design Engineer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver permit drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using Autodesk Revit, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with project standards.
- Create detailed wiring diagrams to accurately represent equipment connections.
- Update and maintain floor plans, identifying and reflecting accurate equipment locations.
- Ensure all documentation is prepared in both RVT and PDF formats for clear communication and record-keeping.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and field personnel to confirm site conditions and project requirements are accurately depicted in all design documents.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and supporting the overall goals of the electrical paneling project.
- Adapt to evolving project needs, with potential for contract extension or conversion to a full-time role based on organizational requirements and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, with demonstrated experience developing technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS), Physical Security Systems (PSS), or Division 27 Voice Data Systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
