Educational Sign Language Interpreter (ASL Interpreter) Summary- Provide sign language interpretation services in a K-12 educational setting.
- Support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in accessing curriculum and participating in all aspects of school life.
- Facilitate communication among students, teachers, and school personnel.
- Work full-time throughout the academic year in collaboration with school staff.
- Interpret classroom instruction and school-related communications using American Sign Language (ASL) to ensure students have full access to content and discussions.

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in K-12 educational interpreting is preferred.
- A minimum score of 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) and/or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification is preferred, or the ability to meet state school requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary to succeed in a collaborative school environment.
