Ecommerce UX Analyst (UXA) Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team as an Ecommerce UX Analyst (UXA). As an Ecommerce UX Analyst, you will play a vital role in assessing and optimizing the user experience across e-commerce websites and mobile applications. This full-time, remote opportunity focuses on identifying usability issues and delivering actionable feedback to enhance the overall shopping journey, increase conversion rates, and improve customer satisfaction. By evaluating and analyzing the user experience, you will help shape best-in-class e-commerce platforms that meet the expectations of today’s digital shoppers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing on e-commerce platforms, including product browsing, cart management, checkout processes, and post-purchase workflows.
- Identify and document friction points, confusing elements, or design flaws that may negatively impact the user journey or conversion rates.
- Collaborate with design and development teams by providing clear, actionable recommendations for improving navigation, product display, and checkout efficiency.
- Ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across multiple devices, such as desktops, tablets, and mobile devices, as well as different browsers.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports—either daily or weekly—summarizing UX observations and suggesting improvements for the e-commerce platforms reviewed.
- Strong attention to detail, with a solid grasp of e-commerce best practices and user behavior patterns.
- Experience using remote work tools and familiarity with a range of online shopping platforms.
- Background in UX review, usability testing, or QA within the e-commerce industry is highly valued.
- Reliable internet connection and access to both a computer and a mobile device for thorough cross-platform testing.
- Excellent analytical skills for identifying usability pain points and developing practical solutions to enhance the user experience.
