The Echocardiography Technologist, also known as Echo Tech or RDCS/RCS, plays an integral role within the cardiac imaging department by performing essential diagnostic ultrasound procedures focused on the heart. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with a requirement to participate in a rotating on-call schedule covering nights and weekends. As an Echocardiography Technologist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing critical imaging that guides the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.

Working as an Echocardiography Technologist provides an opportunity to utilize advanced ultrasound equipment and techniques to produce accurate, high-quality cardiac images. Your expertise will support the clinical team in making informed medical decisions that impact patient outcomes. The role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, professionalism, and ongoing education in the rapidly evolving field of cardiac imaging. As part of the cardiac imaging team, you will interact closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring the best possible patient experience and diagnostic accuracy.

This position requires registration through ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or CCI (Registered Cardiac Sonographer, RCS), as well as a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in performing transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), assisting with stress echocardiograms, and ensuring the acquisition of precise imaging data for physician review is essential. The ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency night and weekend coverage is also necessary.
