The Echocardiography Technologist, also known as Echo Tech or RDCS/RCS, plays an integral role within the cardiac imaging department by performing essential diagnostic ultrasound procedures focused on the heart. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with a requirement to participate in a rotating on-call schedule covering nights and weekends. As an Echocardiography Technologist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, providing critical imaging that guides the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.
Working as an Echocardiography Technologist provides an opportunity to utilize advanced ultrasound equipment and techniques to produce accurate, high-quality cardiac images. This position requires registration through ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or CCI (Registered Cardiac Sonographer, RCS), as well as a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in performing transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), assisting with stress echocardiograms, and ensuring the acquisition of precise imaging data for physician review is essential. The ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency night and weekend coverage is also necessary.

Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech, RDCS/RCS) - Summary- Performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
