Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech, RDCS) - Summary- Full-time position in a state-of-the-art hospital environment
- Critical role in cardiac imaging and diagnosis for in-patient and out-patient units
- Opportunities to work with both adult and pediatric populations

- Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies, including 2-D, M-Mode, Color Flow, and Spectral Doppler imaging
- Conduct advanced echocardiography procedures such as Stress Echo and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Utilize Definity and Bubble Study protocols as required for diagnostic imaging
- Provide imaging services across in-patient and out-patient cardiology units
- Support both adult and pediatric populations, with preference for experience in NICU or neonatal imaging
- Perform and interpret EKGs and collaborate in blood-borne pathogen protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout all procedures
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to established standards
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
- Document and report findings in accordance with hospital policies

- Graduate of an accredited Echocardiography Program
- Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification in cardiac sonography
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in cardiac sonography
- Proficiency in performing comprehensive cardiac echo studies
- Preferred experience with pediatric, neonatal (NICU), or neonatal imaging
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Outgoing and self-motivated with a collaborative approach to patient care
