Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant - Summary
- Lead end-to-end ERP projects utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, focusing on manufacturing and production capabilities.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing functional support for production, finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, and related modules.
- Drive process improvements and ensure ERP systems align with industry best practices.
- Work onsite in Memphis, TN or Carson City, NV, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee full ERP project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and design through testing, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Deliver expert functional support for production modules and comprehensive support across finance, sales, purchasing, and inventory.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently, maintaining thorough process and user documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to optimize manufacturing workflows and maximize ERP system capabilities.
- Manage project plans, schedules, resources, and communication channels to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support change management initiatives and user training to foster widespread adoption of new solutions.
- Configure and maintain third-party manufacturing add-ons for Business Central, such as Insight Works tools including Configurator, Shop Floor Insight, and Inventory Insight.
- Ensure seamless integration between Business Central and manufacturing extensions for optimal performance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) in a manufacturing setting.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, including planning, bill of materials (BOMs), routings, shop floor control, and capacity planning.
- Experience leading ERP implementations, upgrades, or system optimizations in manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in configuring and supporting Business Central manufacturing add-ons, particularly Insight Works extensions.
- Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams.
