Dispatcher - Summary
- Coordinate daily schedules and routes for technicians to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of job progress, technician assignments, and customer interactions.
- Serve as a communication bridge between field technicians, office staff, and customers.
- Support overall operational efficiency by identifying and addressing scheduling conflicts and workflow bottlenecks.
- Utilize CRM systems and dispatch software to ensure data integrity and effective reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in building and modifying daily technician schedules based on workload and priorities.
- Monitor job progress throughout the day, making real-time adjustments as necessary to keep routes efficient and on time.
- Communicate job details, updates, and next steps to field technicians, ensuring clarity and preparedness.
- Handle appointment confirmations, arrival window notifications, and any necessary updates for customers.
- Update job statuses, notes, and documentation in dispatch and CRM systems, maintaining accuracy for payroll and reporting.
- Identify and resolve missing or incorrect information in job records.
- Support workflow improvement initiatives and participate in special projects as required.
- Operate as a central point of contact to facilitate clear, consistent communication among all involved parties.
