As the Director of Wellness RN, you will provide direct supervision and mentorship to a talented team of nursing professionals, guiding them in delivering exceptional person-centered care. This role requires a strong understanding of assisted living regulations and quality standards, as well as the ability to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture. You will be at the forefront of clinical operations, from overseeing individualized care plans to ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical procedures.
In this full-time leadership role, the Director of Wellness RN collaborates closely with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support overall resident well-being. You will also play a key role in driving performance improvement initiatives, optimizing medication management systems, and developing educational programs for clinical staff. Director of Wellness RN - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and wellness services within the assisted living community.
- Supervise, mentor, and support licensed nurses and care staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Complete comprehensive resident assessments and oversee the creation and implementation of individualized service plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations, clinical standards, and quality initiatives.
- Monitor medication management systems and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement programs focused on enhancing resident outcomes and safety.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and provide ongoing staff education.
- Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and other team members to deliver exceptional, person-centered care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
- Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience required
- At least two years of leadership experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living preferred; candidates with extensive assisted living experience and a desire to advance into leadership are also welcome
- Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations and regulatory survey processes
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
