Director of Machine Learning Engineering (ML Engineering Director) - Summary

- Design and scale MLOps capabilities, including feature stores, model registries, CI/CD pipelines for models, and observability frameworks to improve system efficiency and reproducibility.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure AI/ML solutions are strategically aligned with product and business priorities.
- Establish best practices for model governance, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering skills development and technical growth.
- Champion the adoption of innovative engineering tools and methodologies to enhance team productivity and solution quality.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 6 years focused on delivering AI/ML solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, managing teams and overseeing project delivery.
- Demonstrated success in taking AI/ML systems into production and managing their operational performance, including monitoring, reliability, retraining, and cost optimization.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional execution and communicate effectively with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
