The scope of the Digital Design Engineer role encompasses the architecture and development of RTL for a variety of products, with an emphasis on digital control systems such as PMICs, clock buffers, and synchronizers. As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing logic and state machines using SystemVerilog/Verilog RTL, as well as developing, debugging, and validating RTL through the use of industry-standard simulation, synthesis, and analysis tools. You will generate power, performance, and area (PPA) estimates, create schedules, and draft detailed RTL design specifications. Collaboration with verification and AMS teams is essential to ensure that functionality, performance, and coverage objectives are achieved.
Your role will also involve supporting top-level integration, floorplanning, and digital/analog co-design, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and drive ongoing improvements. Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital logic and state machines using SystemVerilog/Verilog RTL.
- Develop, debug, and validate RTL with industry-standard simulation, synthesis, and verification tools (LEC, CDC/RDC, lint, DFT, STA).
- Generate PPA (power, performance, area) estimates, schedules, and comprehensive RTL design specifications.
- Collaborate extensively with verification and AMS teams to meet functional, performance, and coverage milestones.
- Support top-level integration, including floorplanning and digital/analog co-design initiatives.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements and drive continuous improvement in design and processes.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineering talent.

Qualifications & Requirements
- At least four years of relevant industry experience in digital design (senior to staff level).
- Advanced knowledge of high-speed, low-power design using deep submicron technologies.
- Proficient in SystemVerilog/Verilog for simulation and synthesis tasks.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Design Compiler and PrimeTime.
- Familiarity with scripting languages including Perl, Tcl, and/or Python.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers is highly desirable.
