Digital Analytics Engineer - Summary
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining digital analytics and tag management solutions across enterprise platforms.
- Acts as a technical expert in configuring and troubleshooting analytics platforms (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, GA4).
- Collaborates with cross-functional business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical tracking solutions.
- Ensures accurate data collection, reporting, and compliance with data governance and privacy best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain both client-side and server-side tag management solutions.
- Configure tags, triggers, variables, data elements, rules, and extensions to support digital analytics initiatives.
- Implement and maintain analytics platforms, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop scalable event tracking strategies, measurement frameworks, and variable mapping.
- Troubleshoot analytics implementations and resolve data quality issues.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for tracking.
- Design and maintain scalable data layer architectures to support enterprise analytics requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate deployment of tracking requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end validation and testing of analytics implementations using browser developer tools and network debugging techniques.
- Establish documentation, governance standards, naming conventions, and change management processes.
- Support privacy, consent management, and data governance best practices.
- Participate in Agile planning activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design discussions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in digital analytics, marketing technology, or tag management implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side preferred).
- Strong implementation experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable, technical tracking solutions.
- Deep understanding of data layer architecture and event tracking frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
