Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary
- Provide acute hemodialysis and renal replacement therapies in hospital environments.
- Travel between assigned hospital campuses to deliver bedside and unit-based treatments.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver acute hemodialysis treatments to patients in ICU, LTAC, and specialized dialysis units according to physician orders and protocol.
- Provide clinical coverage across multiple hospital sites, ensuring seamless service continuity.
- Assess patient status before, during, and after dialysis treatments, documenting all relevant clinical information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care and renal treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, care plans, and potential side effects.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient conditions, following established guidelines.
- Maintain strict infection control standards and equipment maintenance protocols.
- Support colleagues in meeting department coverage needs, including late shifts and additional treatments as necessary.
- Fulfill on-call and stand-by requirements as scheduled to ensure availability for urgent dialysis needs.
