Diagnostic Radiologist (Telehealth) – Summary
- Provide remote diagnostic radiology services via telehealth platforms.
- Interpret a diverse range of imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound, x-ray, and nuclear medicine.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to support patient care and timely diagnosis.
- Utilize advanced PACS (Intelerad) and voice dictation systems (PowerScribe 4.0).
- Support multiple shifts, with the flexibility to work day, evening, or night hours.
- Meet or exceed volume expectations (70 RVUs per shift).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and report on diagnostic studies, including CT (35%), MRI (6%), PET, ultrasound (22%), x-ray (26%), and nuclear medicine (2%).
- Manage high-volume caseloads with a focus on PET, MR, and STAT/ED/stroke cases.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of radiology reports.
- Work with Intelerad PACS and PowerScribe 4.0 for efficient workflow and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with referring providers regarding urgent or significant findings.
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and legal regulations in diagnostic radiology practice.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (BC required).
- Active NY state medical license required.
- Successful completion of credentialing process (60 to 90 days expected).
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound, x-ray, and nuclear medicine studies.
- Experience with high-volume caseloads and acute/STAT radiology cases preferred.
- Proficiency with Intelerad PACS and PowerScribe 4.0 systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
