Working as a Diagnostic Radiologist (Remote) – ABR/AOBR with Optigy offers the unique opportunity to utilize state-of-the-art technology, including the Visage imaging platform and PowerScribe reporting tools, to deliver high-quality diagnostic interpretations efficiently and securely from a remote setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in interpreting CT, ultrasound, and X-ray studies, particularly in emergency and inpatient scenarios, ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care teams.
This position is designed to provide consistent evening coverage, with primary shifts scheduled from 5:00pm to 9:00pm CST (priority) or 1:00pm to 9:00pm CST, reflecting the organization's dedication to providing around-the-clock radiology support. Candidates should expect approximately 12 weeks on and 2 weeks off, for an average of 23 weeks per month, with target block dates available in February and March 2026. While the majority of work is remote, some onsite coverage may be requested during select weeks, offering further collaboration with colleagues and healthcare staff.

Diagnostic Radiologist (Remote) – ABR/AOBR Summary

- Serve as a Diagnostic Radiologist (Remote) – ABR/AOBR, interpreting CT, ultrasound, and X-ray studies
- Primary focus on general radiology with an emphasis on body imaging
- Evening shift coverage required to support emergency and inpatient needs

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely interpretations of CT, ultrasound, and X-ray examinations, particularly for emergency and inpatient settings
- Participate in scheduled remote shifts (5:00pm-9:00pm CST prioritized, or 1:00pm-9:00pm CST), with a commitment to consistent evening coverage
- Meet a productivity expectation of 45 RVUs per shift, with an annual volume of approximately 15,120 studies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure clear, actionable radiology reports
- Utilize the Visage and PowerScribe tech stack for image review and documentation
- Support periodic onsite coverage as needed during select weeks
- Adhere to all organizational protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Complete credentialing requirements within approximately 90 days
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR); fellowship not required
- Prior experience with remote/tele-radiology preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting CT, ultrasound, and X-ray imaging
- Commitment to providing consistent evening coverage within Central Standard Time
- Excellent communication and clinical collaboration skills
- Willingness to participate in select onsite coverage as requested
