Diagnostic Radiologist (MD/DO), Remote - Summary- Remote, flexible evening shifts (4:00 pm – 12:00 am CST)
- Hospital-based practice with advanced technology stack
- Interpretation of multi-modality imaging studies
- Open-ended contract with potential for long-term collaboration
- Interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, X-ray, and interventional radiology (IR)
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate diagnostic reports to referring physicians
- Maintain productivity benchmarks (70 RVUs per shift)
- Utilize RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0 for image interpretation and reporting
- Participate in remote evening coverage, including some holidays as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes
- Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and clinical guidelines
- Competitive, open hourly rates commensurate with experience and market standards
- Daily overtime after 8 hours and weekly overtime after 168 hours, as applicable
- Flexible remote scheduling to enhance work-life balance

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (within 5 years)
- Active Illinois medical license required
- Demonstrated experience interpreting general diagnostic radiology modalities
- Ability to meet remote productivity standards and maintain high-quality diagnostic output
- Familiarity with advanced imaging software and reporting systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experienced in remote radiology and adept at managing multiple imaging modalities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in a virtual environment
- Motivated to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and patient care
- Adaptable to evolving healthcare technology platforms and workflows
- Credentialing process typically takes approximately 90 days
- Position start date is February 1, 2026, with open-ended contract duration
- Primary imaging workload distribution: X-ray (37%), CT (34%), Mammography (9%), Ultrasound (9%), MRI (5%), Nuclear Medicine (3%), IR (2%), Fluoroscopy (1%)
