The position is structured to provide coverage on specific dates, with a Monday to Friday schedule, supporting emergency room STAT cases and general diagnostic readings. The employment type is contract-based, with multiple scheduled assignments throughout the year.

As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will play a critical role in providing timely and accurate radiological interpretations to support the clinical team and ensure optimal patient care. The hospital utilizes industry-leading technology, including GE PACS with PowerScribe dictation and Epic EMR, to streamline workflow and enhance reporting efficiency. This position is best suited for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable with high-volume reading, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical accuracy and patient safety.

The Diagnostic Radiologist role requires an active medical license and current BLS certification. Experience with ultrasound and MRI is considered an asset, though not mandatory. The credentialing process typically ranges from 60 to 90 days, with expedited emergency privileges available for those with a clean professional record. The onboarding process includes a mandatory in-person orientation, ensuring seamless integration into the hospital’s clinical and administrative protocols.
