Key Responsibilities- Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to provide consultative input and recommendations based on imaging results.
- Ensure the timely completion of imaging reports, maintaining accuracy and clarity in all documentation.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and standards to ensure consistency and patient safety in imaging procedures.
- Participate in standard shifts or department-specific scheduling as required, with occasional call coverage varying by site.
- Maintain compliance with national and state regulatory standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Michigan (MI) is required for this Diagnostic Radiologist (Locum Tenens) position.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, meeting all relevant national standards.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in diagnostic radiology, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Clean malpractice and background history preferred.
- Completion of all necessary credentialing processes, which may take up to 90 days, with expedited review available for candidates with a clean record.
