This full-time position requires an experienced professional familiar with a variety of imaging modalities and comfortable with a steady volume of emergency room cases.
In this role, you will interpret a mix of general diagnostic X-rays (plain films), CT scans, and some fluoroscopy studies, with no interventional radiology (IR) required. You will be expected to handle a balanced caseload of approximately 50% plain films and 50% cross-sectional imaging. The work schedule is structured as a 7 on/7 off rotation, with on-site coverage from 1pm to 10pm, providing both flexibility and work-life balance. Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system, you will be a vital part of a broader radiology team that delivers comprehensive imaging services to Advent Health facilities including Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Dade City, Zephyrhills, N Pinellas, Carrollwood, Connerton, Wauchula, Brandon, Sebring, and Lake Placid.
This Diagnostic Radiologist (DX Radiology) role requires a current Florida medical license and an active DEA registration at the time of application. You should have a clean professional record and the ability to interpret a robust volume of ER imaging studies efficiently and accurately. Privileges are typically processed within 120 days, and all credentialing is streamlined for efficiency across the network of Advent Health sites.
