The Diagnostic Radiologist (ABR/AOBR) – DX/Light IR will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and procedural accuracy. The role is structured around a Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm schedule, with optional call coverage to accommodate work-life balance preferences. Temporary credentialing privileges can expedite the onboarding process, allowing qualified radiologists to quickly integrate into the healthcare environment.

Diagnostic Radiologist (ABR/AOBR) – DX/Light IR Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret a high volume of diagnostic imaging studies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Perform a comprehensive range of non-vascular, light IR procedures, including:
- Thoracenteses and paracenteses
- Abscess and fluid drainage
- Ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies
- Lumbar punctures, blood patches, and shuntograms
- Lumbar drain placement and myelograms
- Arthrograms, joint aspirations/injections
- NG tube placements and related light IR procedures
- Achieve productivity expectations of approximately 45 RVUs per shift
- Collaborate with referring physicians and the wider healthcare team to support patient care
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality assurance standards
- Participate in ongoing departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR)
- No fellowship required in interventional radiology
- Demonstrated proficiency in the full spectrum of light IR procedures listed above
- Eligibility for hospital credentialing and licensure as required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment
