DevOps Engineer - Summary
- Responsible for managing, optimizing, and automating CI/CD tools and processes across multiple business units.
- Facilitates collaboration between development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless software delivery.
- Provides technical guidance on automation toolsets and supports platforms including Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, and APIGEE.
- Leads the research and implementation of open-source technologies to solve automation challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and tools, ensuring consistent and reliable software integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with various business units and cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance software development and deployment.
- Provide expertise on CI/CD practices, automation frameworks, and DevOps culture, with a focus on APIGEE platform integration.
- Support and enhance existing development and deployment platforms, including Kubernetes, Rancher, and Docker, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
- Identify, research, and implement open-source technologies that improve automation and address emerging technical challenges.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, tools, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and process consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and methodologies including Gitlab CI, Jenkins, and Helm.
- Solid understanding of software development frameworks and languages such as Spring, Java, Golang, PHP, and Python.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Bash scripting for automation and deployment tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in IT or related technical roles.
