Dermatologist (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dermatological care, including diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions, disorders, and diseases.
- Perform medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures as appropriate to your training and interests.
- Manage a diverse caseload of 40-50 patients per day in a fully outpatient setting.
- Work closely with a team of Advanced Practice Providers and Medical Assistants, including full scribe support for optimized workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
- Engage in patient education to promote healthy skin care practices and treatment adherence.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education to remain current in the field of dermatology.
- Foster a positive, collegial work environment and contribute to the group’s culture of compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency program.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Dermatology.
- Eligible for, or in possession of, an Alabama medical license (willingness to obtain if not currently held).
- Proficiency in general dermatology (medical and procedural); interest in cosmetic dermatology is welcome but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Open to both experienced dermatologists and recent residency graduates.
