You will also be responsible for taking patient radiographs, verifying and documenting medical histories, and maintaining HIPAA compliance to safeguard patient confidentiality. The Dental Hygienist (RDH) position requires proficiency in current dental hygiene practices, as well as the ability to adapt to the unique needs of patients in a community health setting.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a valid, unrestricted dental hygiene license, and current CPR certification (BLS). You should possess a solid understanding of dental hygiene principles as they relate to both public health and individual patient needs. In this role, you will be expected to operate dental radiographic equipment, screen for oral cancer, and carry out duties in accordance with state laws and clinic protocols. You will also collaborate closely with the Dental Director and other healthcare professionals, contributing to the growth and effectiveness of the dental clinic.
