Your daily responsibilities will encompass a wide range of clinical tasks, including the removal of plaque, stains, and calculus, as well as the administration of preventive materials such as fluoride and dental sealants. You will also be responsible for taking patient radiographs, verifying and documenting medical histories, and maintaining HIPAA compliance to safeguard patient confidentiality. The Dental Hygienist (RDH) position requires proficiency in current dental hygiene practices, as well as the ability to adapt to the unique needs of patients in a community health setting.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a valid, unrestricted dental hygiene license, and current CPR certification (BLS). You should possess a solid understanding of dental hygiene principles as they relate to both public health and individual patient needs. In this role, you will be expected to operate dental radiographic equipment, screen for oral cancer, and carry out duties in accordance with state laws and clinic protocols. Dental Hygienist (RDH) - Summary- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care as a licensed and board-certified or eligible practitioner
- Collaborate with dental and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold patient confidentiality and clinic compliance standards
- Remove hard and soft deposits, stains, and calculus from teeth
- Administer preventive dental care, including fluorides and sealants
- Take radiographs using standard dental radiographic equipment

- Screen for oral cancer and take alginate impressions as permitted
- Fabricate whitening trays as applicable by law
