The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate customer deliveries while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position is responsible for transporting goods between company facilities and customer locations, adhering to established schedules and maintaining a clean driving record. Delivery Drivers (Non-CDL) are required to comply with all company policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and complete all necessary documentation as part of their daily duties.
As a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL), you will represent Crothall Laundry Services by consistently exhibiting a neat appearance, wearing the required uniform, and demonstrating courteous behavior at all times. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of company equipment and vehicles is essential, as is promptly reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to customer service, including the ability to resolve or escalate any customer-related concerns.
Responsibilities for the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) include loading and unloading linen carts, accurately tagging and recording each cart, and ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed daily. Drivers are also expected to weigh soiled items correctly, deliver them to the appropriate location, and disinfect vehicles after each soil pick-up. Daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory to ensure the well-being of all employees and customers.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check. The position requires physical strength, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull a wheeled cart weighing up to 700 pounds. Flexibility is also important, as the role may require working nights, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet operational demands.

Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for delivering goods to customers promptly and accurately
- Ensures adherence to all DOT and company safety regulations

- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart accordingly

- Weigh soiled items under the correct customer and deliver to designated areas
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and orderly condition
- Submit daily pre-trip vehicle inspection reports
- Follow all safety procedures and universal precautions
- Report mechanical issues promptly to appropriate personnel
