Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of goods to customer locations.
- Maintains company equipment and vehicles in clean, organized condition.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Completes required documentation, including vehicle inspection reports and delivery logs.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is correctly tagged.
- Fill out all necessary paperwork and delivery logs accurately and submit them daily.
- Weigh soiled linens for each customer and deliver them to the designated area.
- Disinfect delivery vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance while in uniform each workday.
- Report any mechanical issues with vehicles to the manager promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report on a daily basis.
- Perform customer deliveries with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to the company attendance policy and maintain punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
