Delivery Driver – Non-CDL Summary
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of linen carts and related materials between company facilities and customer locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, adhering to all DOT and company regulations.
- Ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are completed within established timeframes and to customer specifications.
- Act as a representative of the company, upholding professional appearance and behavior at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites, accurately tagging each cart.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and documentation daily.
- Weigh and record soil linen under correct customer accounts and deliver to designated areas.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization inside and out.
- Submit daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports and alert engineering staff to any mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and universal precautions, especially when handling soiled materials.
- Report any concerns related to customer service or satisfaction to the appropriate department.
- Comply with company policies regarding uniform, attendance, and conduct as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics and operational goals.
