Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.
- Operates company vehicles in compliance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Maintains a clean driving record and professional appearance.
- Adheres to company attendance and uniform policies.
- Provides excellent customer service during each delivery.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer facilities, tagging each cart appropriately.
- Complete all required paperwork and logs accurately and submit daily.
- Weigh and document all soiled items under the appropriate customer account, delivering them to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect company vehicles following each soil pick up to ensure sanitary conditions.
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and organized state.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and universal precautions as outlined by company policy.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to management immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
