The Delivery Driver – Non-CDL plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers according to company standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 pounds safely and efficiently.
The Delivery Driver – Non-CDL is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of linen carts at both company and customer locations, with correct tagging and documentation for each delivery. You will be expected to complete all paperwork and logs accurately each day, weigh soiled materials appropriately, and ensure that all vehicles are disinfected after each soil pick-up. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance, as well as a clean and orderly vehicle, is essential. Daily pre-trip vehicle inspection reports must be completed and submitted as part of the company’s safety and compliance standards. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support operational requirements.
