Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of linen and related materials to customers.
- Represent Core Linen Services professionally at all times, maintaining a neat appearance and positive attitude.
- Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all DOT and company regulations.
- Work second shift hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart accurately.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and documentation daily, ensuring compliance with company and DOT standards.
- Weigh and record all soil items under the correct customer, and deliver all soil to the designated area.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain cleanliness and health standards.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and organized condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly.
- Uphold company policies as outlined in the employee handbook, including uniform and attendance requirements.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, particularly when handling soiled materials.
- Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report daily to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service and report any issues regarding customer satisfaction promptly.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
