Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery of goods, specifically linen products, to and from customer locations. The role requires strict adherence to delivery schedules, DOT regulations, and company policies. The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) ensures that all operations are conducted safely, vehicles are maintained in optimal condition, and that customer satisfaction is prioritized at every step. The position operates primarily during the second shift and may include weekend and holiday hours, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting diverse client needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for scheduled deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring timely and accurate completion of routes.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, tagging each cart accurately for tracking purposes.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and disinfected state, especially following soil pick-ups.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit required inspection reports.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and logs, submitting them at the end of each shift.
- Weigh and record all soil items under the correct customer accounts, delivering them to designated areas as directed.
- Report any mechanical issues with vehicles promptly to the designated maintenance personnel.
- Follow all core company policies, including attendance, safety, and uniform standards.
- Communicate any customer service concerns or delivery issues to management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background check.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Availability to work the second shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
