Delivery Driver – Non-CDL Summary
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of linens and products to and from company and customer locations.
- Maintain strict adherence to all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism through appearance, communication, and conduct on the job.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer sites, tagging each cart appropriately for tracking and accountability.
- Complete all required paperwork and daily logs accurately, ensuring submission at the end of each shift.
- Weigh and record all soiled items under the correct customer accounts, and deliver all soiled materials to the designated area.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Keep company vehicles clean, orderly, and well-maintained inside and out.
- Submit a daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer for timely resolution.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when handling soiled materials.
- Adhere to company attendance policies and maintain a neat, professional appearance in uniform at all times.
- Report any customer service or satisfaction issues immediately to appropriate personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required; must maintain a clean driving record without infractions.
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Must be able to work second shift hours, including weekends and possible holidays.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or similar roles preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation.
