Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of goods using company vehicles.
- Maintains compliance with company and DOT regulations.
- Upholds company standards for safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Acts as a key point of contact between the company and customers during deliveries.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart accordingly.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork and logs daily.
- Weigh and sort soiled linen under the correct customer account and deliver all soiled items to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and organized condition.
- Turn in Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports daily to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Report any mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly for immediate resolution.
- Adhere to company attendance and uniform policies, presenting a professional appearance.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures when handling materials.
- Report customer service issues for prompt attention and resolution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
