Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of linens and related products to customers.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company standards at all times.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed daily.
- Uphold professionalism and represent the company positively during all customer interactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart as required.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, logs, and reports, submitting them at the end of each shift.
- Weigh soiled linens accurately under the correct customer account and deliver to designated areas.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each route involving soiled items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate personnel for immediate attention.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including universal precautions when handling soiled linens.
- Wear the provided uniform and maintain a neat, professional appearance each workday.
- Comply with the company's attendance policy and report absences according to procedure.
- Complete and submit daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Follow all company and DOT policies, including documentation and certification requirements.
- Notify management of any customer service concerns or delivery issues promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
- Ability to work second shift hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), including weekends and potential holidays as needed.
- Successful completion of a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts up to 700 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete required paperwork.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including attendance and appearance standards.
