As a Delivery Driver – Non-CDL, you will be responsible for performing customer deliveries within set timelines, maintaining a clean driving record, and strictly following all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies. In addition, you will ensure that all essential documentation is completed accurately and submitted promptly. Reporting to management, you will promptly address any issues related to vehicle maintenance or customer satisfaction to guarantee seamless operations. Delivery Driver – Non-CDL Summary- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of linen products to customers.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT and company policies and procedures.
- Uphold a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure proper documentation and vehicle inspections are completed daily.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged.
- Complete all required paperwork and logs accurately and submit them daily.
- Weigh soiled linen under the correct customer account and deliver to the designated area.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene standards.
- Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report at the start of each shift.
- Adhere to all safety and universal precaution procedures while handling soiled materials.
- Report any mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly.
- Maintain neat, clean, and professional attire according to company policy.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns immediately to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or management.
