Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Ensure customer deliveries are completed accurately, on schedule, and within established time frames.
- Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and DOT regulations at every stage of the delivery process.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company’s standards for uniform and personal presentation.
- Actively contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites, ensuring each cart is tagged correctly for tracking purposes.
- Complete all required paperwork and logs accurately and submit them daily as part of DOT and company compliance.
- Weigh soiled linens and assign them correctly by customer before delivering all soil to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pickup to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, orderly, and operational state, including performing and submitting a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
- Promptly report any mechanical issues to the chief engineer to ensure continuous safe operation of vehicles.
- Follow all universal precautions and procedures when handling soiled linens and while working on the soil side of operations.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely and accurate manner while consistently providing courteous service.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to management for prompt resolution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must possess a valid, active driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with DOT and company requirements.
- Ability to work the second shift from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.
- Successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check is required for employment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs. as part of routine job duties.
- Adherence to all company attendance and uniform policies.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and neat appearance throughout all work shifts.
