Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Safely and efficiently deliver linens and materials to customers according to scheduled routes and time parameters.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during every interaction.
- Adhere to assigned shift hours and attendance policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer facilities, ensuring correct tagging and documentation for each cart.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and vehicle inspection reports daily.
- Weigh and record soil linens under the correct customer account; deliver all soil to the designated area.
- Disinfect vehicles following each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards.
- Report mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly and accurately.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures when handling soiled materials.
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear the designated uniform each workday.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Ability to work second shift hours, including weekends and potential holidays, as required by the delivery schedule.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 pounds.
