Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of linens and related goods following company and DOT guidelines.
- Ensures all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Acts as a professional representative of the company, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged.
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery logs accurately, submitting them daily.
- Weigh soiled linens under the correct customer account and deliver to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized, and orderly fashion.
- Submit a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report before each shift.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including universal precautions and company policies.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and wear the designated uniform during every shift.
- Follow the company attendance policy and report any customer service issues as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work second shift hours, including weekends and possibly holidays.
- Pass all required DOT physicals, drug screenings, and background (MVR) checks.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull carts weighing up to 700 lbs. on wheels.
