This full-time role involves working primarily during second shift hours from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, including weekends and potentially holidays. Delivery Driver – Non-CDL Summary- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of linens and goods for the company and its customers.
- Ensures compliance with all company, DOT, and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintains a professional, neat appearance and consistently represents the company in a positive manner.
- Operates company vehicles and keeps them in optimal condition.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart appropriately.
- Complete daily paperwork, logs, and pre-trip inspection reports as required.
- Weigh soiled linens under the correct customer account and deliver to designated areas.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil collection to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Report any vehicle mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when on the soil side.
- Adhere to company attendance and uniform policies.
- Address and report any customer service or satisfaction issues immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
