Working as a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL), you will be expected to manage your responsibilities during the second shift, typically from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, which may include weekends and holidays. Your primary focus will be to assure that customer deliveries are made accurately, on time, and within established time parameters. You will be a direct representative of the company at every customer location, so maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor is essential.

Key responsibilities for the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) include loading and unloading linen carts at both company and customer facilities, ensuring each cart is properly tagged and accounted for. You will be required to maintain comprehensive and accurate daily documentation, including filling out all required paperwork and logs, and submitting these documents at the end of each shift. Adhering to all company policies, including attendance, uniform standards, and equipment cleanliness is a must. Additionally, you will be responsible for following all safety procedures, including universal precautions when handling soiled materials, and promptly reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

As a Delivery Driver (Non-CDL), you will be required to maintain a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license. The role demands physical capability, such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and pushing or pulling wheeled carts that may weigh up to 700 lbs. Passing a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check is necessary for employment. You will also be expected to disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain sanitary conditions, and keep company vehicles clean and organized at all times.
