Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for accurate, timely, and safe delivery and pickup of linen carts between company and customer locations.
- Must comply with all company, DOT, and safety requirements.
- Required to maintain a clean and neat professional appearance and company vehicle.
- Expected to accurately complete all required documentation and daily logs.
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is tagged as required.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, logs, and reports, turning them in daily as per company protocol.
- Weigh all soiled linen under the proper customer account and deliver it to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, orderly, and well-organized state at all times.
- Uphold a neat and professional appearance, wearing the required uniform each shift.
- Conduct and submit a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report before each shift.
- Adhere to all company attendance and safety policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues with vehicles or equipment to the chief engineer immediately.
- Follow all universal precautions and protocols when handling soiled linens, especially when on the soil side.
- Report any customer service concerns or issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support team and company goals.
