As a key member of the logistics team, the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) is entrusted with the handling, loading, and unloading of linen carts and related items, ensuring that each delivery is executed with attention to detail and courtesy. You will be responsible for following all established policies and procedures, including those outlined in the company’s employee handbook, and for maintaining a clean, organized work environment. This role requires a commitment to safety, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering carts.
In this position, you will work primarily during second shift hours, typically from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, which may include weekends and holidays as required. Your responsibilities will extend beyond driving, encompassing the completion of necessary paperwork, daily vehicle inspections, and the prompt reporting of any operational or mechanical issues. Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintains compliance with company and DOT regulations.
- Performs physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and maneuvering delivery items.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart as required.
- Ensure all required paperwork and logs are accurately completed and submitted daily.
- Weigh and process all soiled items under the correct customer account, transporting them to designated areas.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle at all times.
- Submit daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance, including wearing the required uniform.
- Promptly report any mechanical issues to the chief engineer.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety measures when handling soiled materials.
- Address and report any customer service or satisfaction issues to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Non-CDL required).
- Ability to work second shift hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
