Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Responsible for transporting linens and related goods accurately and efficiently.
- Ensures compliance with all company, DOT, and safety requirements.
- Maintains professional appearance and upholds company standards.
- Operates during second-shift hours, including weekends and potential holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork and logs daily.
- Weigh soil items under the correct customer profile and deliver all soiled linens to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect vehicles thoroughly after each soil pick-up to meet sanitation standards.
- Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook, including attendance and uniform requirements.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer or designated maintenance personnel.
- Follow universal precautions and safety procedures while handling soiled linens.
- Maintain all necessary DOT documentation and certifications.
- Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and submit reports as required.
- Deliver customer orders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during all interactions.
- Communicate any customer service or satisfaction concerns promptly to management.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; capable of maintaining DOT compliance.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Must be able to work second-shift hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), with availability for weekends and possible holidays.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete required documentation accurately.
