Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Drive company vehicles to deliver and pick up linen carts to and from customer locations and company facilities.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within set time parameters.
- Maintain all required documentation and adhere to DOT standards.
- Support company operations by reporting issues and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle.
- Uphold company policies and standards, including uniform and appearance guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart as required.
- Fill out all necessary paperwork and logs; submit documentation daily as per company protocol.
- Weigh and record soil under the correct customer name and deliver to the designated soil room.
- Disinfect vehicle after each soil pickup to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization, including daily pre-trip inspection reports.
- Report any mechanical issues to the chief engineer promptly.
- Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when handling soiled items.
- Adhere to company attendance and uniform policies, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
- Report any customer service or satisfaction issues immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to maintain compliance with DOT regulations.
- Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Ability to work assigned second shift hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Commitment to upholding company policies, including attendance, uniform, and safety requirements.
