Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary
- Responsible for executing customer deliveries with accuracy and punctuality.
- Maintains a safe and courteous driving record in compliance with company and DOT standards.
- Ensures all deliveries and pickups are completed within the set timeframes.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at both company and customer locations, tagging each cart accordingly.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and documentation daily, including Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Weigh and record all soiled linen under the correct customer, delivering it to the appropriate area within the facility.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain sanitation standards.
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety procedures and universal precautions, especially when handling soiled materials.
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the company uniform and adhering to grooming standards.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to management promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid, current driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work second shift hours (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), including weekends and potential holidays.
- Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull wheeled carts up to 700 lbs.
- Adherence to company attendance policy and commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
