The Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely transportation of goods to customers, supporting operational excellence. Working primarily on the second shift, the Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) is responsible for maintaining an impeccable driving record while executing deliveries and pickups with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction. Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery and pickup of goods to customers.
- Maintains compliance with all DOT and company policies, including proper documentation and certification.
- Represents the company professionally, both in appearance and conduct, during each shift.
- Upholds company standards in vehicle cleanliness, uniform, and workplace organization.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged and documented.
- Complete all required paperwork and logs accurately and submit daily as per company protocols.
- Weigh and classify soil at pickup and deliver it to the designated area, maintaining proper records for each transaction.
- Disinfect company vehicles after every soil pickup to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and submit Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer for timely resolution.
- Adhere to all universal precautions and procedures, particularly when handling soiled materials.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and organized condition at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and immediately address or report any safety concerns.
- Consistently uphold Core Linen Services’ attendance, uniform, and appearance policies.
- Report any customer service concerns or issues to management for rapid resolution.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support overall operations.

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
- Ability to work second shift (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM), including weekends and potential holidays as needed.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs.
