The main objective of the Delivery Driver – Non-CDL is to provide excellent customer service by ensuring deliveries are completed within designated timeframes, maintaining company vehicles, and adhering to all corporate and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Working as a Delivery Driver – Non-CDL offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and essential operations team. This role involves loading and unloading linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring items are properly tagged and paperwork is accurately completed. Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer sites, tagging each cart accordingly.
- Complete all required paperwork and daily logs accurately and submit them at the end of each shift.
- Weigh and record all soil items under the correct customer profile; deliver soil to the designated area.
- Disinfect company vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards.
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and submit inspection reports.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all safety, operational, and universal precaution protocols while handling goods.
- Report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Communicate any customer service issues or concerns to management for prompt resolution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
