The role of a Delivery Driver – Non-CDL is an essential part of ensuring efficient and accurate transport of goods, particularly for industries where timely and reliable delivery is crucial. The Delivery Driver – Non-CDL is responsible for the safe and prompt delivery of goods, maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to all relevant Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations. This position is structured around a second shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, providing a stable work environment for individuals who are comfortable with evening and overnight hours.

As a Delivery Driver – Non-CDL, you will represent the core values of the company each day by delivering goods with precision, maintaining an impeccable driving record, and demonstrating courteous behavior toward customers and fellow employees. Key responsibilities include the loading and unloading of linen carts at both company and customer locations, ensuring all relevant paperwork and logs are accurately completed and submitted, and upholding all safety procedures set forth by the organization.

The Delivery Driver – Non-CDL role demands a high degree of personal integrity and organizational skills. You will be expected to maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of your assigned vehicle, regularly perform and document pre-trip vehicle inspections, and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel without delay. Adhering to company uniform policies and maintaining a professional appearance is also a vital part of presenting the organization in the best possible light to customers and the public. Additionally, you will follow all universal precautions and procedures, particularly on the soil side, to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Success in this role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver wheeled carts weighing up to 700 lbs. The Delivery Driver – Non-CDL must also pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check. Previous experience in delivery roles or similar positions is beneficial, but a strong willingness to learn and adhere to established protocols is equally valued.
