Delivery Driver - Summary- Responsible for completing linen deliveries using a 26' box truck.
- Ensures all deliveries are accurate, timely, and within required parameters.
- Assists with sorting linen and performing preventative maintenance on laundry equipment.
- Maintains compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Provides excellent customer service and represents the company in a professional manner.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, ensuring each cart is properly tagged.
- Accurately complete all paperwork, logs, and daily documentation as required by the company and DOT.
- Weigh soiled linen under the correct customer account and deliver all soiled items to the designated area.
- Disinfect vehicles following each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues with vehicles or equipment promptly to the chief engineer.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of universal precautions on the soil side of operations.
- Turn in a daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Follow all policies as outlined in the employee handbook, including uniform and attendance standards.
- Perform additional tasks or duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for the Delivery Driver role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling a wheeled cart weighing up to 700 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
