The Delivery Driver position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of linen products while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. As a Delivery Driver, you will primarily operate a 26' box truck, supporting the transportation, sorting, and delivery of linen between company facilities and customer locations. The role also includes performing preventative maintenance tasks on laundry equipment, maintaining proper documentation, and adhering strictly to company and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be expected to report to the designated job site and uphold the standards set forth by Crothall Laundry Services. Physical capability is essential, as the role involves lifting up to 50 lbs. and maneuvering linen carts weighing up to 700 lbs. The Delivery Driver is also responsible for disinfecting vehicles after each soil pick-up and ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately and submitted daily.
This position requires a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance, including daily inspections and prompt reporting of any mechanical issues to the chief engineer. Delivery Drivers are expected to follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when handling soiled linens, to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Delivery Driver - Summary- Responsible for accurate and timely linen deliveries using a 26' box truck
- Performs sorting of linens and preventative maintenance on laundry equipment

- Keeps company equipment clean, well-organized, and promptly reports mechanical issues
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, ensuring accurate tagging
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and daily documentation accurately
- Weigh soiled linen under correct customer accounts and deliver to soil room
- Disinfect vehicle after each soil pick-up to maintain hygiene standards
- Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times
- Submit daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Deliver products to customers accurately and within scheduled timeframes
- Follow all safety and universal precaution procedures, especially on the soil side
